Wine Tasting Experience - Volcanic Wine Class, February 4, 2025

Join us at The Rind as our wine buyer Isaac walks us through a selection of four wines sourced from volcanic islands. Volcanic wines are fawned over by wine nerds for their expressive flavor profiles, due to exceptionally mineral-rich soil and unique climate factors that influence grape development. Volcanic soil only represents 1% of the surface area of the planet, but grapes grown in this soil are varied and individually distinct.

You’ll leave this class with a foundational understanding of wine production and how to taste like the pros, all through the lens of some of the world’s most uncommonly exciting wines. Wines will be a variety of styles, showcasing the depth of flavor profiles that can be experienced from volcanic terroir. Volcanic island cheeses and other light bites will be paired with each wine.

The tasting is on Tuesday, February 4th at The Rind (attached to the Berkley Store). The event will start at 7:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm. This is a ticketed event and tickets are first come first serve. MUST BE 21 OR OLDER TO ATTEND! Please state in the notes section at checkout if you have any allergies or are Gluten-Free.
