Dunbarton is made by fourth generation dairyman Chris Roelli. When he took over the family business, he was determined to make something more interesting than block cheddar. Dunbarton, a cheddar that has been hand-pierced to allow for some blue veins was Chris's first original recipe. This cheese is almost chocolaty so you can understand why we like it!
A hand crafted, cellar cured cheese with the earthy character of a fine English-style cheddar, coupled with the subtle hint of blue flavor. Open air curing creates a natural, edible rind. Made with pasteurized cow's milk and aged at least 90 days.
