More about out guest host, Noel Brockett

Noel Brockett is a lover of all things Georgian, starting with his Georgian wife. Noel Brockett was a typical American 20 year old until his life drastically changed in 2007 when he met and fell in love with a woman from Georgia while studying at a small liberal arts college, St. John’s College, in Annapolis, MD. He jumped head first into this new culture and spent a large chunk of time from 2008-2011 in Georgia working on education, getting married, gaining a family and discovering Georgia’s 8,000 year old wine making tradition.

In 2011 he accepted a position at Georgian Wine House, a Maryland based import company founded by Georgian wine enthusiasts in 2005. For the last 13 years Noel has been the resident evangelist and problem solver at Georgian Wine House holding many titles, currently President. With the help of amazing winery partners he has helped select a portfolio that has transformed the once locally focused company into a national importer with representation in 20+ states.

He has worked tirelessly to share the previously untold story of Georgian wine in America and has become one of the leading American specialists in Georgian wine. His heart is full when he is sitting at a supra drinking a toast and helping others to discover the history, the taste, and the traditions of Georgia that make it one of the world's most exciting wine regions.
