Manoa- Liliko'i Passion Fruit Dark Milk Chocolate 60%
When the seeds of passion fruit first came to Hawaii from Australia in 1880, they were planted in the East Maui district of Liliko'i and the name stuck. The juice, with its distinct tangy flavor, is a popular ingredient in Hawaiian cuisine. This limited edition bar from Manoa is in their Flavors of Hawaii series. This one features passion fruit in a 60% dark milk chocolate.
Shar Tuiasoa of Punky Aloha Studio is the talented local artist behind the cover illustration. Also part of Flavors of Hawaii are the Coconut (Haupia) & Passion Fruit (Liliko'i) bars.
